III. Training objectives
Training objectives of auto examination and maintenance technology major are: This major aims to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled personnel with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labour, good professional ethics, professional quality, practical ability and innovation and entrepreneurship awareness, master professional knowledge of auto maintenance aimed at auto manufacturing, after-sales services and related enterprises, with stronger practical ability, occupational qualification certificates and competent for auto maintenance, auto after-sales service management.
IV. Graduate qualifications and requirements
1. Requirements of graduation credits
“Chinese and general courses module + professional foundation and major courses module” credits ≥113;”career development courses” credits≥5. All credits of major required courses must be gained. Not received any punishment or punishment has been revoked.
2. Requirements of computer capacity
Obtain Level-I Certificate for National Computer Rank Examination or other computer certificates of the same level.
3. Requirements for foreign language proficiency
Students must pass the National Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK3) upon graduation.
4. Vocational qualification certificates
Auto maintenance workers intermediate or“1+X” certificate, for example: Auto electronic and electrical and air conditioning comfort system technology (intermediate).
The requirements for vocational qualification certificates may be optional if students meet one of the following conditions:
（1）Awarded third prize or above of National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education or World Skills Competition National Trails
（2）Awarded third prize or above of Jiangsu Province Competition for Skills of Vocational Education or World Skills Competition National Trials
（3）Patents
5. Requirements for physical fitness test
Students’ physical fitness test must meet the standard. Students who fail to participate in the test projects wholly or partially can provide the application for exemption from implementing the National Student Physical Health Standard to the school, which can be exempted with the approval of the school.
